More than A Game (GEAUX SAINTS)

I am a New Orleans girl, I mean born and raised. Tonight I watched the Saints win their game and then stopped for a moment and told my father that the rest of the world would not understand what this means for us.

The Saints represented hope for us, that nothing could keep the city down. I remember when they were playing in San Antonio because the Dome had been a shelter after Katrina and even then I was in a sea of Saints jerseys.

As I watched the game tonight I realized that not only did we win the game but the Saints brought the eyes of the world back onto the city but for a good reason.

If the Saints win the SuperBowl there will no sleep in the city and I am looking forward to that celebration.
